Accommodation and Transport
Accommodation by arrangement and will generally be in guest houses, local hotels and hostels. Meals provided will depend on the accommodation venue. Transport can be arranged if required.



Age and Health
Anyone over the age of 18 is welcome. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. There is no upper age limit but those taking part are expected to have a reasonable level of fitness for the activity chosen . Please discuss with Highway 2 prior to booking activity. Clients must inform Highway 2 of any known medical conditions. Any such information will be treated in the strictest confidence.



Cancellation
All cancellations must be made in writing. The deposit ONLY will be forfeit in the event of any cancellations received more than 28 days prior to the activity commencing, however FULL payment will be forfeit should a cancellation be made 28 days or less prior to this.



Equipment
Highway 2 has a small store of equipment, however it is expected that clients arrive with the proper gear. An equipment list will be provided on booking and will vary with relevance to the programme chosen.



Payment and Insurance
A deposit of 25% per person is required when booking. A booking does not exist until we receive this payment. The balance is due, without further reminder, 28 days before the start of the activity. Cheques should be made payable to "Highway 2”.

It is suggested that clients arrange personal insurance cover for cancellation, accidents and equipment loss.



Safety
It is an accepted fact that Mountaineering / Hillwalking and outdoor pursuits are by nature hazardous pastimes. With this in mind Highway 2 will ensure that all reasonable steps and measures are put in place to reduce this risk as much as possible.

Clients must agree to abide by, and comply with, all the instructions and decisions of the instructor/guide.

Highway 2 reserve the right to alter outings and routes if weather and conditions dictate
